I wonder if anyone here can answer my question regarding the pistol on the pictures. Its in totally untouched condition with beautiful browning on barrel and unpolished brass.
The pistol looks almost identical to the Belgian m/1816 pistol but with some differances:
Triggerguard in one piece brass.
No iron reinforcement in the back of the handle.

On both sides of the barrel a "Crown over letters LT" + ELG for Liege on the top of the barrel. The letter "I" on the lockplate.

Die Pistole wurde abgenommen von Lamberrt Thonus, der in der Lütticher Waffeninspektionsgruppe von 1814 bis 1819 tätig war.
Bei der dem belgischen Modell 1816 sehr ähnlichen Waffe dürfte es sich um eine Exportversion für das Königreich Neapel handeln, das für seine Gendarmerie belgische Pistolen des Musters 1816/22 gekauft hat.
