Thank you Carsten ! I have one more Pallasch with what I beleive is markings from Holsten.

This is an Pallasch M 1773:

If the "H" is for Holsten. Then what is the "W" represent ? The weapon number also seems very high unless what appears to be N 1013 is in realitry somthing else, the number one could be "I". Any suggestions ?

I don't know the meaning of "H=W" and have no idea traurig .

There is a "BS"-mark -> (Baroniet Heinrich Carl Schimmelmann, Kronborg Geværfabrik ~1770-79) and a mark I could'nt read exactly ("F5"? under crown - seems to be too early - I think this was the time of C VII., a short time after the death of Struensee and later on).

Some questions:
Is this a model 1789 or 1773?
Did the norwegians use the same models as the danish troops in danmark or are there differences?

The only question is what the "W" stands for. The "H" is for Holsten. The high weapon number is also an question.

This Pallasch has been re-issued in Norway. The round hole up in the left corner is what we call "Norwegian Arsenal hole"

It is quite well marked. Both with BS on the hilt and C7 on the blade.

Pardon, I'd been so fascinated about the picture, that I skipped this little sentence mit Augen rollen .

The C7 stamp is for King Christian 7 born in 1749 and king from 1766 - 1808 over Denmark, Norway and Sleswig-Holsten.

You are right the C7 stamp is not shown on the photo above. It is placed on the front side of the blade. I will see if I can get around to take an photo later freuen
